What is earl ?
Earl is an online bookmarking tool , you give it your bookmarks it stores them in its database .
And thats good why ?
you can access them from any webrowser anywhere on the internet , on holiday , at friends house.
Putting your bookmarks in a database makes it very easy to share them with your friends.
Is that all it does ?
You can do all sorts of things . you can share them and track who clicks them , you can access
them via rss as a live bookmark in firefox or anything else and you can put them in nice category structures.

I won't do anything nasty with it i promise , i loathe spam , its just so i can contact you if your links break
or if something major happens to earl.
Can i see the code ?
Yes , but not just yet , its still a bit messy but I definately want to GPL it once its good enough.
If you are really keen then am sure you could make me do it quicker with judicious prodding via email.
Its Perl running on Apache currently with a mysql database , its quite modular but its not Object
Oriented and i hope to contribute some of it to CPAN if its of any use to anyone.
